THE FREIGHT BROKER LLC · SHIPPING RESOURCES
Dry van freight brokerage
The Freight Broker LLC arranges dry van transportation for packaged goods and palletized products that do not require temperature control. We help coordinate shipment requirements with a carrier; the carrier performs the transportation.
When dry van may fit
Dry van equipment can suit boxed products, packaged retail goods, and other compatible dry freight. Tell us what you are shipping, how it is packaged, and whether any special handling is required. Temperature-sensitive or unusual freight needs a separate equipment discussion before booking.
Dry van is equipment; truckload is a service choice
A dry van describes the enclosed trailer. Full truckload describes a shipment arrangement. A dry van shipment may use a full trailer, while smaller palletized shipments may be candidates for LTL. We can discuss the difference for your lane.
What affects your quote
Route, pickup timing, available capacity, shipment weight and dimensions, loading time, and facility requirements affect the options. Tell us about appointments, limited access, and loading equipment so the quote reflects the planned move.
What to send for a quote

- Commodity, packaging, total weight, and dimensions

Common questions
Do you transport refrigerated freight through this service?
This dry van service is for freight that does not require temperature control. Describe your commodity and temperature requirements before requesting equipment.
Can I book a dry van just from the weight?
Weight alone is not enough. We also need dimensions, packaging, origin, destination, dates, and loading requirements to discuss suitable equipment.
